AIMEE SMYKE

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Aimee Smyke moved to NYC in 2015 to pursue a BFA in Commercial Dance from Pace University. Aimee has performed with several companies in both NYC and LA including Broadway Cares, Caleb Teicher and Company, Royal Flux, and Emma Portner’s ‘The Flock’ among others. Her music video credits include Superfruit’s “Worth It” and pre-pro for Michael Bublé’s “Higher”. She has worked with renowned choreographers such as Sarah O’Gleby, Al Blackstone, Josh Prince, Anthony Morigerato, Tessandra Chavez, Talia Favia, Tommy Tonge, Phillip Chbeeb & Makenzie Dustman, and Derek Hough to name a few. Since graduating in 2019 Aimee has worked with Dance Lab New York (Broadway Dance Lab), appeared in Bridesmaids: A Dance Narrative, workshopped for the new musical BLISS as well as Maks & Val Tour ‘Stripped Down’, and presented work at Stage and Screen Show. She has taught and choreographed across the country including at studios including Millennium Dance Complex Orange County. Aimee is now based in Los Angles as a freelance dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Most recently Aimee worked on her first commercial with iRi NYC as a dancer and choreographer and is currently a member of Royal Flux Dance Company.
